Valerie Cheah

Valerie was called to the Singapore Bar in 1992.

 

She is also qualified in England & Wales and Malaysia and has practised with some of the most established law firms in Singapore and Malaysia. 

In 1998, she entered in the financial industry and was the legal director with a boutique private equity firm in Singapore. After she returned to practice in Singapore, she has advised both individual and corporate clients in the areas of:
 

  • Trusts;

  • Asset protection;

  • Succession planning;

  • Estate administration;

  • Structured trade finance. 

 

 

Her approach to matters is always holistic with a view not only to guiding clients to their short-term objectives but also their long term goals. 

Valerie is an advisor to the Malaysian Association in Singapore (MASIS).    

She is fluent in English, Malay and conversational Cantonese and her hobbies include music, theatre and visual arts.
